7 September 2025 - this Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces clocks in 8 Sept [exact time below for the Sunshine Coast, EST, London]
* I am heavily drawn to silence today.
A productive day building and creating.

I’ve just finished writing the catalogue text for one of my paintings.
I will share it here, as it speaks to this Blood Moon in Pisces - echoing themes locally and globally around whistle blowing, sacred rage, and the nuanced nature of that —- *** i.e. how and when it carries the Soul’s frequency.
And when it does NOT.
Ultimately and seamlessly — stay in your heart. Decisions need to arise from love, not fear.
It may be tough love or love on fire — but it’s love none-the-less, VASTLY distinct from fear. You will KNOW and RECOGNISE its resonance.
There are many expressions of Soul sovereignty.

Artwork Title: “INTENSITY”
One-Line Description (Gallery Tag)
A fierce gaze that refuses dilution — Intensity is a portrait of raw presence, the Soul unmasked.
Full Description/ Story
Intensity is an invocation to look directly into the fire — within yourself and within another.
This work resists distraction, resists compliance.
It asks: What happens when you meet a soul fully present, undimmed, unapologetic?
Painted in thick, urgent strokes, the face emerges not as a portrait of any one person but as a mirror.
The saturated reds, ochres, and dark indigos pulse with primal force — the heat of anger, passion, determination, survival.
The eyes, unrelenting, anchor the viewer into confrontation: with self, with shadow, with truth.
In a culture that teaches us to soften, to smile, to be palatable, Intensity breaks that pattern.
It embodies the necessary fire of transformation. The energy that clears, burns, and ignites. Without it, there is no change.
Artist’s Statement
This piece arose from a visceral need to capture the raw, unfiltered presence that so often makes people uncomfortable.
For me, Intensity is not aggression but clarity — the power of looking at life without flinching.
It reflects my ongoing exploration of authenticity, shadow, and the courage it takes to live without apology.

WHAT’S ON THE GRID?
This blood moon is cutting through TRUTH like butter.
Look inside and be dead-honest.
CULL.
* Hedging carries that splintered frequency forward into your reality, in your body.
* Take a moment to re-set, clarify, and focus your frequency — for whatever it is will be magnified geometrically forward.

My longer Catalogue Essay on this piece —
Catalogue Essay: “Intensity”
If “Chiron” holds the wound and its transformation, and “Ascent” speaks to the upward rising of spirit, then “Intensity” is the necessary fire that makes either possible.
It is the combustion point, the moment when something within refuses to stay dimmed any longer.
The portrait here is not an individual but an archetype: the Fierce Gaze, the Soul Unsoftened.
The brushwork is urgent, almost raw — reds and ochres burning against the stark contrasts of indigo and white.
The textures hold both violence and vitality, a reminder that all creation requires destruction first. (Shiva).
The eyes are central. They confront the viewer without apology, pulling you into a state of directness that modern life rarely allows.
In their intensity lies a paradox: they can be read as anger, passion, or clarity — but they are always AWAKE.
What emerges here is SACRED RAGE : not blind fury, but the holy fire that ignites when truth has been silenced too long.
It is the rage that clears falsehoods, burns illusions, and insists on authenticity.
Sacred rage is not about destruction for its own sake, but about clearing the ground so that something truer, cleaner, more alive can stand.
---
Within my broader body of work, “Intensity” is a keystone of fire.
Where “Liminoid” wrestles with illusions of feminine power, and “Chiron” traces the journey through shadow into healing, “Intensity”reminds us of the heat required to get there.
It is not comfortable.
It is not soft.
It is, however, necessary.
Without intensity, without sacred rage, there is no transformation.
Without the fire, the alchemy of shadow to light never completes.
This piece, therefore, is both mirror and spark.
It asks us to honour the flame within ourselves: not to weaponise it, not to repress it, but to stand with it.
To let intensity strip away pretense, and to trust that what remains is true.
This is not the end of the fire — only one moment within a longer alchemy.

Note:
This work sits within a broader body of paintings exploring transformation and embodiment — including Chiron, Liminoid, and Ascent — to be released in future phases.
