VORDVAUS

A platform for systemic reform.

Domestic violence affects our entire community.

VORDVAUS is a developing not-for-profit initiative and public voice platform for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.

It exists to:

(1) Bring forward lived experiences that are too often silenced

(2) Call for immediate, structural reform across systems that are failing those they are meant to protect

The Problem

There is an urgent and ongoing need for reform.

Across Australia, many individuals navigating domestic violence encounter systems that are:

  • fragmented

  • inaccessible

  • financially and emotionally prohibitive

  • slow to respond in situations requiring immediacy

The result is that those most in need of protection are often left navigating unsafe, unsupported, and prolonged processes.

Position

VORDVAUS centres:

  • lived experience

  • clarity of truth

  • systemic accountability

This is not commentary. This is structural critique.

It is a call for structural change — across policing, legal processes, and institutional response frameworks.

Call to Action

There is a need to mobilise systemic change — now.

If you have lived experience of domestic violence — directly or through someone close to you —
your voice matters.

Lived Experiences (Coming Soon)

This platform will publish anonymised lived experiences to:

  • illuminate systemic gaps

  • inform reform

  • create collective visibility
