“Time Travelers” – Art Ingrained in Memory

Some pieces of art stay ingrained in memory.

They linger. They return. They haunt us, in the best way.

This was the piece in Santa Fe that captivated me most.

Traversing dimensions and human time, working within cosmic time —McCreery Jordan’s Time Travelers ✨

Presented by Galleria GAIA, Canyon Road, Santa Fe, NM.

Standing before this sculpture clarified something for me: how intuitive intelligence — our intuitive intelligence — operates.

It is unconstrained, expansive, and geometrically far more unbound than our conditioned, mental focus.

Intuition speaks in the language of metaphor, archetype, and symbology. It draws from a wider, multi-dimensional stream of information — beyond, and not limited to, three-dimensional human psychology.

The mind, by contrast, tends to register and communicate more literally. A narrower funnel. More linear. More contained.

So here is the invitation:

Suspend the overthinking mind.Suspend disbelief.

Allow yourself to be present.

Breathe with the piece.

How does it speak to you?

How does she speak to you?

What does the crow represent?

How does it all land?

Let your senses linger in the detail.

What emotions arise?

What sensations stir in the body?

Beyond your familiar identity and daily routines —what does this piece say to you?

-------

Some works don’t ask to be understood — they ask to be listened to.

This figure feels suspended between worlds: human and mythic, flesh and symbol, memory and prophecy.

The crow is not an ornament here — it is a messenger.

A reminder that intuition speaks before thought, and that some knowledge arrives not through the mind, but through the body, the breath, and the quiet recognition of truth remembered.
