Full Moon in Libra: Core Values, Identity & the Courage to Relate

Today’s Full Moon 🌕 in Libra ♎️ peaks at 10:22am on the Sunshine Coast (13 April).

The Sun is in Aries ♈️, illuminating — and confronting — our sense of identity and true Self. This activation sits close to Chiron, highlighting deep childhood and abandonment wounds, alongside Eris, the goddess of discord.

Together, these forces oppose the Moon in Libra ♎️ — the sign that governs how we enter relationships.

This lunation asks:

  • How do you show up in relationship?

  • Do you enter fearlessly as your Soul?

  • Or do old identities and survival wounds lead the way?

🔂 Every old identity carries its own belief system — usually anchored in fear and survival rather than truth.

At the heart of this Full Moon is core values — yours and mine. This has been centre stage for some time now, and it’s no accident that Venus, Libra’s ruler, is activated here.

The body doesn’t lie

There is a tug-of-war between our Soul’s innate need for love and connection, and outdated identities driven by control and self-protection.

This tension lands in the physical body.

You may feel it as:

  • tightness in the neck, shoulders, back

  • tension in the jaw, teeth, or gums

  • gripping in the abdomen

  • heaviness in the hands, calves, or feet

This is the gap between who you truly are and how you’ve learned to survive.

✨🌕✨The perpetual tension between Soul-led faith and human attempts to control.

What we tell ourselves we need — and what we actually need — are often very different things.

Life could be simpler and more fearless.Yet compassionately, many of us are frozen in a deep fear of rejection.

At its core, the question we’ve carried since infancy is: Is the world a safe place for my Soul?

That unspoken question drives many of our adult decisions — and has shaped a world that struggles to feel safe for anyone.

When the world feels overwhelming

We’re living through intense collective pressures — rising costs, misinformation, authoritarianism, and widespread mental and physical strain.

It’s easier to collapse than to thrive.

This is why grounding, bite-sized daily practices matter more than ever.

I don’t advocate hyper-vigilance or relentless productivity. But in times like these, structure can offer traction.

Here’s a simple 15-minute daily practice I’m using over the next 15 days:

1️⃣ Write your Top 5 Core Values. (Notice what remains, and what falls away.)1.2.3.4.5.

2️⃣ Write 5 things you’re grateful for. Writing resets the nervous system — the physical act matters.

3️⃣ List 5 achievable tasks for today. Small, grounded actions restore agency and momentum.

Keep the journal and pen in the same place. Start with five days. Then five more.

❤️ This is self-help in its truest form.

On relationships (Libra’s deeper teaching)

  • Deep love confronts your previous self-image — not with romance, but with truth.

  • Which relationships do you avoid because they would catalyse your growth?

  • Where might you be sacrificing inner values for harmony, image, or approval?

✨🌕✨May this Full Moon inspire you to look behind your facades, and find the courage to enter relationships that truly nourish your heart and Soul.

Enjoy this Pink Full Moon 🌕

With love,Nic ☀️
