Early Morning Practise: Sitting in Silence

Around three weeks ago, I had a strong urge to sit myself down for ten minutes in silence each morning.
As a way of grounding my Soul in my body at the start of each day.
As a way of starting each day emptying myself from the noise of human frequencies.
And in that silent void, allowing an internal sacred church where I could hear the silence and allow myself to sit with my Soul.
A way to meet my Self, first thing in the morning.
A way to commune with my Soul.
I realized, I do this with my children. With my deep love for them, I create that moment each day to sit down quietly with them, giving them my full attention, without any distractions. Everything else is of less importance. That moment, what matters is solely this one person my child sitting in front of me. I make sure they know I am listening 100%, and I am connected. As I look into their eyes.
I listen for the pause before the conversation begins. I make space and time to speak without interruption until they are complete. I wait for the pause when they are complete. To receive what they have shared and spoken about. Before I speak or respond.
That time with them is usually anywhere between ten minutes to an hour of connected conversation.
I realized, I needed to do that with my Soul. With my Higher Self. I realized my Soul needed that.
An invitation to sit with me.
Here I am making space and time. For Me. The true essence of Me.
I found these words to complete this morning practice, synchronistically flicking to the next page of my beautiful journal — this journal is called, “The Secret Language of Your Soul” by Inna Segal. A journal for mind, body, and heart.
I highly recommend it.
As I flicked to the next page, it read “Create a Daily Healing Practice”
at the top.
At the bottom of the page was this mantra written by Rudolf Steiner
—
✨✨✨✨
“I feel myself within myself.
Divine power takes hold of the surrounding of my being.
I take hold of the divine power within my heart.
And I send peace, peace, peace to my Spirit-Loving Self.”
✨✨✨✨✨✨
🙏🏻✨ It is what I use to seal my morning practice.
I needed this time to sit to help myself manage the overwhelming state of the world right now.
