The cognitive dissonance is disappointingly impressive. Why would individuals known to be highly respectable and intelligent be blindly supporting Trump?
It’s “dissonance” because there is a clear and observable DIS-CORD between Trump’s observable manner of speaking, his core values, and behaviour — ALL in blatant/ full public display and found wanting — i.e. — low/ lacking/ absent core values, discriminatory, racist, sexist, offensive derogatory chauvinistic language, arrogant, self-entitled, disrespectful to the other, devoid of kindness —-
—- a DIS-CORD between this conduct , and what the Supporter desires in their mind as a “promised land” “complete overhaul” of (corrupt) government. The need to believe that someone rogue and (perhaps) a benevolent dictator is what it would take to drive a sledge hammer through this broken corrupt system.
Well, I tell you - “Benevolent”, Trump is NOT.
And it is cognitive DISSONANCE - as the dots between behaviour-in-display, and desired outcomes in the Supporter’s mind, are not connecting.
They don’t add up.
So the mind is clearly doing a by-pass. That’s why it doesn’t make any sense.
Someone - Trump - with this much disrespect for life and humanity, would be hard pressed to set INTENTIONALITY that is pure and for the highest good of all. For the highest good of you and your children.
Think about it.
It only takes a second to check-in whether that adds up — *** Is Trump here to serve the highest good of mankind (?) of You (?) or your children (?).
The clear answer is, NO.
That’s a large abyss for someone with Trump’s psychological state to have to cross-over to.

So how does one get their head around those blindly supporting Trump, who see him as the messiah who will deliver it all?
Well - first off, this blind loyalty does not have anything to do with academic or professional intelligence.
It has to do with whether someone was subconsciously raised to believe in a Messiah. A messiah is someone external to one’s own self, who is prophesized to “Fix it all” and “Change the world” .
The false-Messiah complex has been on the grid for decades, if not centuries.
Our religions drilled this hard into our subconscious. “Pray, and have faith that someone with that much power will change the world and solve all your problems overnight.”
The promise of greener pastures.
I was raised Roman Catholic, so I know this well. And even as a child, it never made any sense to me.
Because at the core of this (religious) framework — power rests outside of me. It’s a dis-empowered paradigm, where I surrender my own conscious will and accountability to make decisions in my own life —— by entrusting faith in the “Messiah”.
Trump’s inauguration has very much triggered, activated and validated the wounded Shadow Masculine in society, and in Individuals with similar wounding, ie “If he gets to be here and do the violation he does, so can we!!”
What is the wounded shadow masculine?
The sacred masculine and sacred feminine are two energetic forces within us.
Who fits the profile of (Trump’s) Wounded Shadow Masculine?
The profile is found in those who are entrained in believing in a “false messiah”, having power resting in an entity or persona outside of themselves.
They will have low sense of accountability — for accountability does not rest in themselves, it rests instead in that third party/ Saviour.
A healthy sacred masculine force inside all of us - regardless of whether one is male or female in gender and anything in between — manifests as a healthy outward relationship with our world outside the home - this is the external field of work, society, government, schools.
The male in our subconscious/ is the father or that force or figure that goes out of the home to engage with the world/ with work/ that part that expresses in the external, and then returns back home.
In psychology it is proposed that our early relationship with a father image (present/ replaced/ or absent) reflects on our own relationship with the outside world. And our relationship with our mother/ mother figure (present/replaced/or absent) reflects on our primary relationship internally with our selves. The mother stays within the home. Our first home is within this body.

The profile of HEALTHY masculine energy in a person - shows a healthy sense of expression and ability to relate with others in a way that feels self-secure in one’s own worth, with one’s ability to be kind, fair, and balanced in their own countenance.
WOUNDED shadow masculine which is what is everywhere and activated via Trump today - is the shadow-polar opposite being, someone so insecure they need to pump themeselves up, and oppress the other/ another — in order to feel their own sense of worth (the profile of the bully).
Included under this profile is someone who cannot own honest accountability for their actions for they are never to blame/ nor responsible (the projector).

It’s not to say that all Trump supporters have this shadow narcissistic bully behaviour -
I see two profiles —
1) One profile for sure, is the shadow-victim-narcissistic-bully. For people with this wounded profile in themselves, Trump’s legitimized power does have these people with a similar profile, feeling more activated and more legitimised to act out their overt wounded behavior, right now.
2) The second profile are those raised believing in a savior/ messiah/ the promised land.
They will be less overtly violent or aggressive, and will be seemingly peaceful.
But they will struggle to stay grounded with the truth around circumstances. They will struggle to own up to what’s right or wrong/ or to be in touch with what really happened where you will see them operate either in avoidance of the issue or wash their hands off clean, in the guise of (a) not being good around conflict, and (b) just wanting a peaceful life.
Ultimately still lacking in accountability and a clear grasp of current reality at the end of the day.
** Conspiracy theorists - Many conspiracy theorists will fall under this second category. The bottom line, once again is around the ability/ or capacity to have accountability.
Conspiracy theorists need to talk about and believe in the Armageddon of their theories (which in many ways is an illusion which does not exist but is even more extreme than the risks proposed by current reality), and they need to invest time talking about this —- as a way of ESCAPING/ AVOIDING having to face what they need to — find too confronting to —- TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY for, and act on in their own daily lives.
It’s an escape pod.
But it will sound intelligent.
Cognitive dissonance.
Learn to spot it. Watch your boundaries. Stay anchored in the truth within your Self.
That way, you are immune from gas-lighting, where a seemingly intelligent person makes you doubt your own instincts.
Have the power rest within you. Always.
